June 8 - August 29, 2013 - Learn to Swim at the Cove Waterpark Adapted lessons as well as group, semi-private, and private classes are available.
July 17, 2013 at 9:00am - Coffee and Donuts with the Supervisor Come discuss your issues with 2nd District Supervisor, John Tavaglione and staff at the Eddie Dee Smith Senior Center from 9 to 10am.
July 15-19 & 22-26 - Crittter Kiddz Camp! Join the Department of Animal Services for animal training camp at the Western Riverside Animal Shelter.

April 13, 2013 - County waste department to provide free composting workshop in Highgrove The Riverside County Waste Management Department will host a free backyard composting workshop in Highgrove on Saturday, April 13th, 2013 Attend this “how-to” workshop to learn how to recycle organic resources such as yard trimmings, fruit and vegetable waste into a dark, crumbly, sweet-smelling soil conditioner. Compost can be used to enrich the soil in gardens, lawns and house plants. Instead of putting organic waste in the garbage to be hauled to the landfill, learn to compost!
